A coding agent in your terminal.
zidane opens a chat client built on OpenTUI, and zidane run --json prints a JSON result for scripts and CI. With the daemon, the desktop app opens the same session live.
Type / for commands and skills.
The list filters as you type. @ completes a file path, and ! on an empty prompt switches to shell mode.
Approve tool calls.
In safe mode each tool call waits for you. Accept it once, or save a rule such as shell:bun:* in projects.json so it stops asking.
Run one prompt from the command line.
zidane run takes a prompt and the TUI's flags. With --json it skips the TUI and prints one result object when the run ends.
# Open the TUI and start on this prompt
zidane run --prompt "add a /health route"
# Skip the TUI: wait, print one JSON result, exit
zidane run --prompt "add a /health route" --json
# Choose the provider, model and execution context
zidane run -p "fix the flaky login test" \
--provider anthropic --model claude-opus-4-7 \
--context docker --jsonStream runs into scripts and CI.
--stream-json prints each completed turn as a JSONL line, then the result, with logs on stderr. Exit code 0 means the run completed, 1 an error or a bad flag, 124 a timeout, 130 an abort.
